01Common fixes

Try these first.

The app doesn't open in the chat.+

Check the app is connected and turned on for the chat: in ChatGPT under Settings → Apps & Connectors, in Claude under Settings → Connectors. Then ask for it by name, for example “Open Kanban”.

I can't add the app by URL in ChatGPT.+

Adding an app by its server URL needs Developer mode. Open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced, turn on Developer mode, then click Create and paste the server URL.

The app shows “Not saved”.+

The chat app is blocking storage inside the embedded app, so your changes last only until you close it. Use Export to keep a backup file, or try the same app on the web version of ChatGPT or Claude.

My data is gone.+

Your data lives in your browser's local storage. Clearing site data, using a private window or switching browser or device starts the app empty. If you exported a backup, use Import to load it back.

How do I move my data to another device?+

Export on the first device and import the file on the other. Nothing syncs automatically, because nothing is stored on our servers.

Nothing shows in Claude Code.+

The terminal can't display an app's interface. Connect the app in the Claude desktop or web app to use it.
